There are quite a few promotion from Porsche recently, code name "the porsche moment"... kinda selling the dream for those who always wanted a Porsche. Happened to know someone who took delivery of a base Cayman. I had a chance to sit in it and the engine really sound different. The good thing is that his payment is about the same as his friend's BMW 335i coupe (back in 2007 when the 335i coupe was pretty hot). At $699+tax a month, would you get a base Cayman or a 335i coupe? I would get a porsche... however, when i tell you that you could get a 335i coupe for under $600, there might be some brain exercise to do...

If i get a Porsche, i would get the Carrera 4 or 4S, not about the extra power, but simply because i love the bigger butt... well, 1.7 inch wider is not a big deal to some but i do care about that.
